As one of the NFL’s best left tackles, San Francisco 49ers star Trent Williams’s reputation precedes him. But, in case that wasn’t already clear, one look at the veteran’s “locker” should drive that point home.
On Saturday, a video showcasing Williams’s impressively sizable set-up in the Niners locker room made the rounds on social media, giving fans an idea of just how much space the 6′ 5″, 320-pound offensive lineman has at his disposal.
The clip didn’t include an appearance from Williams but showcased his not one but two lockers and their accompanying accoutrements. Fittingly, his left locker boasted an aptly-titled name plate of “Silverback 71,” a nod to his vaunted nickname and strength, while the right took a more traditional approach of “Williams 71.”
In case it sounds like a lot, the footage only adds to that sentiment, though, to Williams’s credit, the massive O-lineman has done a good job of keeping things neat:
A 49er since 2020, Williams would likely command a similar amount of, if not more, space in any locker room around the league. And, while some may call it vet’s privilege or even a necessity, one thing’s for certain: likely no one will argue with Williams over his spacious digs anytime soon.
